As a designer I spend my days hunting the world for home treasures which often leads me to getting the itch to change things up in my own home (probably a bit too frequently!), so when my friends over at Annie Selke approached me about collaborating to refresh our living room I was ecstatic. I've followed the brand for years, and while I usually think of them as having a more traditional East Coast aesthetic, their assortment includes a diverse range of home goods including some incredible textiles and bohemian inspired pieces that I couldn't help but fall in love with.
Daniel and I moved into our little beach pad about 3 years ago, which sits just steps away from San Francisco's Ocean Beach. We immediately fell in love with the neighborhood - the Outer Sunset's streets are lined with sherbet colored homes that offer a cheerful contrast to the frequent fog (which makes the sunny days that much better!).
We love a good movie night - so we decided to switch out our coffee table to the Tasha Rug Ottoman to have something soft to kick our feet up on - I love the moroccan print on this piece!
Pro tip: if you choose to have a large ottoman instead of a coffee table, a tray is handy to provide you with a hard surface to put drinks, books, and trinkets on - like this beautiful coral branch.
I was immediately drawn to this large mosaic print - the scale is awesome and I love how the design subtly ties in with other repetitive patterns throughout our living room.
The palette of our living room was predominately black and white - and I wanted to add a bit of color into the room while still staying true to the beachy earth tones throughout our home. I love the Anatolia Pillow - the combination of rust and indigo is gorgeous!
Thanks so much to my friends over at Annie Selke for helping me transform our living room into the coziest space!
